Former Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has highlighted 11 powerful individuals and groups that have “rejected” the policies of President Muhammadu Buhari.
He disclosed this after the world’s second richest man, Bill Gates had criticised the Buhari administration’s policy on health and education in an interview with CNN on Monday.
Gates during the interview had said, “I am worried and saddened by the direction of the present Nigerian government and I could not keep silent.”
The Microsoft founder and co-chair of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation had on Thursday also criticised the Economic Recovery and Growth Plan (ERGP) of the present administration at the expanded national economic council meeting chaired by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.
He had said that the plan did not focus enough on human capital development.
In a tweet via his Twitter handle on Monday evening, Fani-Kayode listed the individuals and groups that have “rejected” Buhari to include former Presidents Olusegun Obasanjo and Ibrahim Babangida; former Defence Minister, TY Danjuma; Bill Gates; Amnesty International; Transparency International; and International Monetary Fund.
Others, according to Fani-Kayode, are Ohanaeze Ndigbo; Afenifere; Middle Belt Forum; and Niger Delta Elders
