Nigerians on social media have been reacting to the failure of President Muhammadu Buhari to submit his academic credentials to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) ahead of the 2019 elections.
This is the second time the president would not submit his credentials to the electoral body. In 2014, he said his academic certificates were with the military board. He repeated this claim in 2018.
Lere Olayinka, spokesman of Ayodele Fayose, former governor of Ekiti state, has written an open letter to the military to release the credentials of president to INEC.

This thing is embarrassing to Nigeria and the rest of us - The President is presiding over Nigeria without any document and the document we are even talking about is the least of academic qualifications in the country - he has spent years out of office unbothered to re-educate
This thing Buhari is doing and walking away with- one day we will all see it in much clearer terms- if INEC is demanding for WAEC, why can’t Buhari approach WAEC for a reissue ? Why does he keep telling that BS story about the military? It is the silliest narrative ever out there

Take it or leave it @Mbuhari's certificate does not exist, he never finished his primary school, he went to secondary school with "I am Fulani". He left the secondary school for the Military without sitting for his WAEC exams. That is the truth.
