Justin Bieber partners YouTube for ‘top-secret’ project

YouTube, Google-owned video sharing platform, has announced its partnership with Justin Bieber, Canadian singer, for a “top-secret” project to be premiered in 2020.
Robert Kincyl, YouTube’s chief business officer, made this disclosure at the video giant’s broadcast event for advertisers held on May 2, 2019.
Labeling the partnership “a top-secret project to be premiering next year”, he added that it “promises to be one of the most talked-about YouTube originals ever”.
Although the ‘Sorry’ crooner took a noticeable break from the music scene in recent times, the said partnership would see him heading back to the platform that brought him to stardom.
Bieber has earned himself numerous awards throughout his career including a Grammy award for the category ‘Best Dance Recording’. He has also been enlisted thrice by Forbes magazine among the top ten most powerful celebrities in the world.
Bieber fizzled into the limelight in 2008 after Scooter Braun, former marketing executive of So So Def recordings, accidentally clicked on the singer’s 2007 Youtube videos and became impressed.
At the age of 13, he flew to Atlanta with Braun to record demo tapes and began singing under Usher and Raymond Braun Media Group, Braun’s joint venture.
The gifted singer recently made a surprise appearance during Ariane Grande’s headlining set at the 2019 Coachella Festival.
“I haven’t been on stage in like two years, I came out here and had no idea I was going to be on stage tonight. So anyway, this is my first time on stage in like two years. I had to get my groove back, my swag back,” he said.

The singer, who has been struggling with mental health problems and undergoing treatment for depression, hinted that he would be releasing a new ‘kick-ass’ album in response to fans who repeatedly urged him to do so.
