The Nigerian youths must prepare to act decisively in 2019 - Adamu Garba

Adamu Garba, a presidential aspirant in the 2019 general elections, has said that President Buhari has continued to fail at his primary assignment of being president which is to be the chief marketing officer of the country.
And that the youths should strongly condemn Buhari’s Westminster statement as the Nigerian youths must remember that the same man they queued under the sun to vote for, walked across states for, Campaigned for, has turned around to shame them.
Garba in statement on Wednesday reacting to Buhari’ speech at Westminster on Wednesday, saying that a lot of the youth just want to sit down and do nothing, banking on the notion that Nigeria is an oil-rich nation said ‘few years ago in Germany, standing next to Angela Markel, agruably the most powerful woman in the world, president Buhari speaking on Nigerian women relegated their roles to the kitchen and the bedroom forgetting that a 75% of small holder farmers are hardworking women who are involved in the production, processing and marketing of agricultural products. And that is just in agriculture.
‘A similar faux happened in the UK when we were described as fantastically corrupt during an official visit of the president.
‘Rather than defend the dignity of his fellow contry men, our president, in his usual self righteousness decided to be humorous with our national pride.
‘Today, in what I consider an incendiary statement to every hardworking young Nigerian, president Buhari described them as lazy and over entitled.
‘This is the same president whose handling of the economy has cost this country the loss of 7.5million jobs in three years. Under his watch thousands of young and able Nigerians have died needlessy from insecurity and yet he de-markets us before the entire world.
‘We strongly condemn this statement and the Nigerian youths must remember that the same man they queued under the sun to vote for, walked across states for, Campaigned for, has turned around to shame them.
‘The Nigerian youths must prepare to act decisively in 2019 and vote for their interest.’
