First official trailer for 'The King's Man' released

July 19, 2019 0
The Kings Man Trailer Gq
Hollywood movie studio 20th Century Fox has recently released the first official trailer for 'The King's Man' which is a third installment of the Kingsman series of films.
Based on the comic book series of the same name, it has been revealed that the third entry would feature an entirely new cast of characters as it explores the origins of how the secret spy service came to be.
The prequel stars Ralph Fiennes, Harris Dickinson, Liam Neeson, Daniel Brühl, Rhys Ifans, Gemma Arterton, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Charles Dance, and Djimon Hounsou among many others. In addition to featuring an absolutely stellar cast, Kingsman 1 and 2 director Matthew Vaughn has returned to the handle the project.
Although the latest installment to the trilogy seems not to feature a lot of laughs as the previous films, Vaughn has still referred to The King's Man as an action-comedy.
The King's Man is set for release on February 14th, 2020.

Joaquin Phoenix takes over as Batman villain in Joker teaser

April 04, 2019 0
Warner Bros has dropped the first teaser trailer for ‘Joker,’ its upcoming classic movie on the origin story of Batman villain, ahead of the October 4 cinema release date.
Directed by Todd Phillips, Joaquin Phoenix, movie star, plays the role of Arthur Fleck otherwise known as the ‘Joker’.
The Warner Bros trailer gives a snippet view into the life of Arthur, a comedian brutalized, beaten and later transformed into the classic villain in Batman’s Gotham city.
The teaser trailer beams its attention on establishing Arthur’s character, which paints him to be a troubled man on the verge of madness.
Despite being told by his mother to always keep a happy face and bring laughter and joy to the world, Arthur feels the world is becoming an increasingly cruel and crazy place. It appears this was why he chose to become the Joker.
Set in Gotham City way back in 1981, the story of the Batman’s super-villain starts out as the rather simple tale of a failed stand-up comedian who turns to a life of crime and creating chaos after his society has disregarded him.

Although ‘Joker’ seems to draw its inspiration from Alan Moore and Brian Bolland’s classic graphic novel ‘Batman: The Killing Joke Batman’, there is no sighting of the legendary Batman in the teaser trailer.

Disney releases official trailer for Toy Story 4

March 20, 2019 0
Disney Studios has released the first official full-length trailer for the fourth instalment of the Toy Story franchise.
Pixar Animation Studios, a subsidiary of Walt Disney Studios, dropped the first full-length trailer for its upcoming ‘Toy Story 4’ movie on Tuesday, featuring all your old favourites including Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Rex and Slinky Dog.
Also listed in the forthcoming movie are Hamm the Piggy Bank and Mr and Mrs Potato Head, plus the newest character, a spork named Forky.
The new trailer opens with everyone’s favourite sheriff introducing the crew to Forky – an utensil-turned-toy created by their new owner Bonnie.
“Forky is the most important toy to Bonnie right now,” Woody explains. “We all have to make sure nothing happens to him.”
Forky, who is voiced by Tony Hale, seems unhappy to meet with the rest of the gang because he cannot relate properly with their values.
He escapes because as he puts it, “I am not a toy. I was made for soup, salad, maybe chilli, and then the trash!”
Josh Cooley, director of the film, had told Entertainment Weekly in November last year that “the world of ‘Toy Story’ is built upon the idea that everything in the world has a purpose.”
“A toy’s purpose is to be there for its child. But what about toys that are made out of other objects? Forky is a toy that Bonnie made out of a disposable spork, so he’s facing a crisis. He wants to fulfil his purpose as a spork, but now has a new toy purpose thrust upon him.”
The film is due to hit theatres on June 21.

Idris Elba named People’s ‘Sexiest Man Alive’

Actor Idris Elba, who James Bond fans are campaigning to be the next person to play 007, was named the sexiest man alive on Monday by People magazine.
The London-born actor, 46, said he didn’t believe it when the magazine told him.
“I was like, ‘Come on, no way. Really?’” Elba told the celebrity publication.
“Looked in the mirror, I checked myself out. I was like, ‘Yeah, you are kind of sexy today.’ But to be honest, it was just a nice feeling. It was a nice surprise — an ego boost for sure.”
One of Britain’s best-known stars, Elba won a Golden Globe for his lead role in BBC television detective series “Luther”, played a Norse god in “Thor” and appeared in US television series “The Wire.”
Other actors and singers who have been given the title by the magazine’s editors in recent years include Blake Shelton, Chris Hemsworth, Adam Levine, George Clooney and Channing Tatum.
Only two other non-white men – African-American star Denzel Washington in 1996 and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, whose mother is Samoan and whose father is black Canadian, in 2016 – have won the title since People started the feature in 1985.
Fans have been campaigning for Elba, the son of African immigrants to Britain, to take over from Daniel Craig as secret agent James Bond in the lucrative movie franchise after the next Bond film, due for release in 2020.
Elba in August stoked the rumour that he was set to become the first black actor to play Bond when he posted a cryptic message on Twitter using one of the character’s best-known lines – “My name’s Elba, Idris Elba.”
Days later, he flatly denied it was going to happen, however.
Elba appears on the cover of a special double issue of People that arrives on newsstands on Friday.

Tyler Perry to retire iconic Madea character in 2019

Image result for Tyler Perry to retire iconic Madea character in 2019
Tyler Perry’s latest movie, Acrimony, starring Taraji P. Henson, was the cause of several Twitter arguments these past few months as Nigerian moviegoers debated the merits of the movie and it’s intricate – if not, emotionally exhausting – plotline.
Now, Tyler Perry has made a new announcement: the iconic Madea character will be retired in 2019.
For the past 20 years, Perry, an actor, producer and director, has played the role of Madea, a gun-carrying, profanity-spouting grandmother who isn’t afraid to throw hands when and if necessary or voice her opinion regardless of whose ox is gored.
Speaking on the SiriusXM radio show, Perry revealed that Madea will make one last appearance in the forthcoming film, ‘Tyler Perry’s A Madea Family Funeral’, set to be released in 2019.
However, we are still not sure if, as the movie’s name suggests, if it is Madea’s funeral.
Since the character’s debut in 1999 in the play, ‘I Can Do Bad All by Myself’, it has grossed more than $500 million worldwide at the box office from 10 films.
Perry latest project, ‘Nobody’s Fool’, an upcoming comedy which he filmed and wrote, starring Tiffany Haddish and Whoopi Goldberg, is set to be released this November.
