The event, tagged ‘The About 30 concert’, saw the ‘Ire’ singer perform with his band, 79th Element, and entertain the devoted crowd through a brilliant display of African costumes and dances.
The most striking performance featured Gold on a throne wearing a brilliant gold apparel, flanked by bodyguards while his sister gave the ‘oriki’ in Yoruba alongside a brilliant talking drummer.
Adekunle Gold took to his Instagram page on Saturday to reminisce about the event.
He wrote: “What a night! We actually sold out O2 Indigo! Pinch me please. By all means, dream.”
The show also featured other artistes like Tolani, Falana, Juls, Harry Marshal and Bimbi Phillips.
There was a surprise appearance by Simi as she performed ‘No Forget’ with Adekunle Gold.
Fans were mesmerised by Gold’s performance as they shared their experiences during and after the show with one describing it as an “ethereal experience”.

When I said last year, that Adekunle Gold was one of the best live performers I've ever seen, some thought it was just hyperbole... Last night was something else though... Ethereal experience. Are you beginning to believe now?!
