Giwa says he didn't lose election case in Court of Arbitration for spaerrs

The Nigeria Football Federation president Ambassador Christopher Giwa has finally come out to clear the air on what many people termed as ‘losing his election case at the Court of Arbitration for Sports’, he said that his board went to CAS because of the NFF Vs FIFA and not the Nigeria Football election matter.

He further stated that the reason why they were in CAS is to challenge the letter sent by FIFA recognising Amaju Pinnick as NFF president and when we got to CAS, FIFA they did not recognise Amaju Pinnick as the NFF president but Sepp Blatter on a personal note did. According to him, they did not lose in CAS contrary to what people believed before now.

He stressed further that FIFA has never given him any opportunity to hear his own side of the story but he believed that with his assumption of office he stands a better chance of fair hearing.
