Aruna Quadri has made it to the final in the ITTF Challenge Nigeria Open.
The world number 18 defeated Thailand’s Wisutmaythangkoon Supanut in straight sets, 11-9, 14-12, 11-9, 11-8.
Aruna will face Hachard Antoine of France who defeated Rumgay Gavin of Scotland.
The Men’s single final is slated for 4:30pm.
All other Nigerian athletes who started the tournament have crashed out, leaving Quadri as the only one flying the nation’s flag.
