Plans have been concluded for the release of a new TV series, Something Strange, in the first week of December.
Produced by the production arm of African Movie Channel, a private screening of the movie was held recently at the Filmhouse Cinema in Lekki, Lagos. Guests at the screening included Paul Igwe, John Njamah, Daniel Oriahi, Ola Producer, Uche Nwaefuna, Mofe Okorodudu, Rekiya Yusuf, Soji Adeyemi, Mama Zeus, Efeturi, Muyiwa Awojide, Ijeoma Grace Agu, Scarlett Shotade Gomez, Nikky Ufondu, Charles Novia, Denrele Edun, Sandra Eze, among others.
Speaking at the event, a founding director of AMC, Lola Onigbogi, said the birth of African Movie Channel Original Productions demonstrated AMC’s dedication and passion for excellence in telling African stories. He added, “It has been an incredible experience working with these filmmakers and AMC looks forward to working with even more talented filmmakers to provide the kind of content blend that our modern African audience demands.”
