
At least, one Nigerian was on board the passengers and crew of the crashed Ethiopian Airlines, which occurred on Sunday morning at Addis-Ababa, Ethiopia.
The Nigerian was yet unidentified, but information gathered by our correspondent revealed the Nigerian might have used a United Nations (UN) international passport.
The aircraft, which was acquired by the airline in mid-November 2018 crashed early Sunday morning with 157 passengers and crew members on board, after losing contact with the control tower six minutes after departing Addis Ababa.
The flight ET302 with the registration number: ET- AVJ was a Boeing B737-800 MAX and the same aircraft brand owned by Lion Jet, crashed last November in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Further breakdown of the list of nationalities on board were 18 Canadians, nine Ethiopian, eight Chinese, eight Italians, eight United States, seven British, seven French, six Egyptians, five Dutch, four UN passport and four Indians.
Others were three Russians, two Moroccans, two Israelis, one Belgian, one Ugandan, one Yemen, one Sudanese, one Togolese, one Mozambican and one Norwegian.
