The results from 12 local government areas (LGAs) in Oyo state show that Seyi Makinde, candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), is leading Adebayo Adelabu of the All Progressive Congress (APC).
Abiodun is currently winning after he garnered 191,845 votes from results released for the local government areas while Adekola, his major rival, polled 122,457 votes.
Below is a breakdown of the results released from the 12 local government areas.
Ibadan north-west: PDP 20,715 – APC 10,221

- Kajola: PDP 13,600 – APC 12,982

- Ogbomosho: PDP 11, 236 – APC 10,984
- Afijio: PDP 10,515 – APC 7,591
