NASD OTC market ends negative on first day of April

The National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) Over the Counter (OTC) Exchange Market ended Monday on a negative note following the drop by 2.80 percent to 736.54 points of the NASD Unlisted Security Index (USI) and the Market Capitalisation To ₦529.15 billion.
The drop is against last Friday transactions during which the market Capitalisation was ₦544.39 billion from the previous week’s  ₦539.23 billion representing a 0.96 per cent increase in Capitalisation.
At the penultimate week ending 22 March 2019, the NASD data showed an increase from 750.56 points to 757.75 points.
NASD PLC promotes the trading network that facilitates secondary market trading of all securities of publicly listed companies primarily in Nigeria targeting the West African region. It aims at stimulating growth by facilitating the process of raising capital.
