The internet has been inundated with rumours that Damini Ogulu, Nigerian Afrofusion artiste known as Burna Boy, has dumped Stefflon Don, British rapper and songwriter.
The report is specifically claiming that the talented singer left Don for Princess Shyngle, a Ghana-based Gambian actress.
On Monday evening, Instablog9ja stirred up a hornets’ nest when it reported that the award-winning singer had left the British rapper.
It quoted one of its insiders as saying that “Burnaboy has fully returned to actress Shyngle, who he started dating in 2018 and never really left, despite his affair with Stef.”
BURNA BOY, STEFLLON DON HAD PROMISED TO BE WITH EACH OTHER
In July, Don, real name Stephanie Victoria Allen, had said that Burna Boy expressed his desire to marry her during their encounter in Ghana.
“Burna Boy is my baby. This is my ring. Next time, it would be his on my finger. I mean, he told me. I’m not just making things up. He’s Nigerian and you know Nigerian weddings are really big. I love Nigerian culture, its amazing,” the 27-year-old London-based singer had said.
A month later, the Afro-fusion artiste hinted that he would love to raise a child with Allenwithout attracting the public attention.
“It’s not the business part of us, it’s our life. I’m trying to make it right because I don’t want to bring a kid into this life and everyone is disturbing the kid, wondering what Stefflon Don and Burna Boy’s kid doing. I want to raise a kid the way I was raised,” Burna Boy had said.
“Being with Stefflon Don is lovely. I don’t know how to explain it. It’s just that I try to now kind of like keep it between us. I don’t want to be putting our thing out there in front of everybody anymore. Like you’d be there and you can see it but I don’t want to put it out there for everyone.”
While TheCable Lifestyle is unable to independently verify the veracity of the claims about their split it has begun to gain traction on social media platforms, especially on Twitter.
