Nigerian Afropop singer, Davido has announced the acquisition of a Lamborghini Urus, an SUV manufactured by Lamborghini, an Italian automobile brand.
The award-winning singer took to his Instagram on Sunday to share pictures of the much-acclaimed vehicle.
He also sought the opinions of his fans on whether to ship the new whip to Nigeria or leave it in his Atlanta garage.
Urus was unveiled on December 2017 and placed on the market for the 2018 model year. According to Cars.com, the 2019 Urus is valued at $200,000 (an estimated N72,250,000).
The vehicle integrates a V8 bi-turbo engine with a maximum power output of 478 kW/650 HP and is reported to have the lowest carbon emissions in comparison to Porsche Cayenne, Bentley Bentayga and the Audi Q7.
DAVIDO LISTED AMONG 19,901 PERSONS AND COMPANIES OWING TAXES
The car purchase comes at about a time when the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) published his name among 19,901 individuals and companies who are yet to regularise their tax status.
In the list published last Monday, accounts belonging to Davido Music Worldwide (DMW), Obasanjo Farms and Iyiola Omisore were among those placed “under lien” for owing taxes.

The agency said it would enforce the payment of whatever outstanding each company had “if they fail, refuse or neglect to pay the tax due within 30 days of this Notice.”
Under lien gives the FIRS the power to hold on to the accounts and deduct whatever the customer owes.
