Jose Mourinho has sent a clear message to Real Madrid regarding their interest in David de Gea.
The Manchester United Goalkeeper has been linked with a move back to the Spanish capital for number of years, famously coming close to completing a deal in 2015, only for the transfer to break down at the eleventh hour.
Following the breakdown of the move, De Gea signed a new deal, a deal which currently has just over one year remaining, although there is an option to trigger a one year extension.
Ever since then, in almost every transfer window, Real Madrid have been linked with rekindling their interest in the Spaniard, only to be told no by Manchester United.
There is talk of a new deal for the Spanish number 1, and speaking at a press conference, Jose Mourinho had a strong message that de Gea is not for sale:
“I think he will stay,” Mourinho told La Sexta on Monday evening.
